BITSAT application dates extended till March 19

NEW DELHI, MARCH 12: Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani has extended the dates for BITSAT 2018 application form to March 19. Candidates, who wish to to fill the application form of BITSAT, can now fill and submit the application form till 5 pm on March 19. However, to make it a hassle-free process, aspirants must fill the application well before the given time and date. While filling BITSAT application form 2018, applicants have to register, enter their personal, academic and contact details, upload scanned images of their photograph and signature and pay the application fee. The application fee can be paid in online as well as offline mode.

For online payment, candidates can pay through all credit & debit cards issued by Master and Visa and via net banking enabled accounts of various Indian banks and through Paytm Wallet. The list of the participating banks will be displayed while candidates initiate the fee payment.

The offline facility of BITSAT application fee payment is available only via cash. Candidates using this mode have to make the fee payment at all ICICI Bank branches in India along with a specially generated Pay-in Slip. In order to pay the fee via cash, candidates have to download the specially designed Pay-in-slip from the BITSAT website and visit any ICICI bank branch along with the cash. Do not forget to collect the confirmation receipt after fee payment at the bank.

Male candidates, who wish to appear in BITSAT in test centres within India, have to pay Rs.2,950, while female candidates (taking the test in India), have to pay Rs. 2,450. For candidates choosing Dubai as test centre, the application fee (for both male and female candidates) will be US$ 70 (or Rs.4500).

BITSAT Application Correction

For candidates, who make mistakes in the application form of BITSAT 2018, BITS Pilani will open correction window after March 19 when the application process ends. It must be noted that all those candidates who want to make changes/corrections in their application have to do it within the given period, the dates of which are yet to be announced by BITS Pilani. Also, the application correction will only be a one time facility, so candidates must be very careful while making the changes. It’s also advised to cross-verify and review the changed made carefully before finally submitting the corrections.

BITSAT Application Status

The application form of BITSAT 2018 will be considered only if the candidates have filled in all the required details and pay the application fee, which is the last step of the application process. Once they have paid the fee, candidates can know about the status of their application form. To check their application status, candidates have to enter their BITSAT 2018 application number, gender and date of birth.

BITSAT 2018 will be held in online mode from May 16 to 31. BITSAT is conducted every year for admission to Integrated First Degree Programmes across the 3 campuses of BITS, located at Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad. Around 3 lakh candidates appear in this entrance test every year.
