CTET Result 2019 Announced; 3.52 Lakh Candidates qualified in CTET July Exam

New Delhi, July 30: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the CTET 2019 result on July 30, 2019. The result has been declared for the examination held on July 7 in online mode. Authority has released the result for both Paper I and II of CTET exam 2019. Candidates, who have appeared in the test, can check their CTET result by entering their roll number in the login window. Result contains details i.e Name, Father's name, Mother's name, Category and Roll Number.

This year 29.22 lacs candidates registered for the exam and out of them 23.77 lacs candidates had appeared in the exam in 114 cities across India. 3.52 lacs candidates are qualified in CTET July 2019 exam and out of them 2.15 lacs candidates have qualified in Paper I of CTET exam while 1.37 lacs candidates qualified in Paper II. Only those candidates are declared qualified who have secured at least 60 percent marks for General and 55 percent for other categories and above in CTET July examination.

Steps to check CTET 2019 Result
1. Visit official website of CTET (ctet.nic.in)
2. Click on CTET 2019 July Result (at bottom of page)
3. This link will open a new window
4. Candidates should enter their roll number in the box
5. After entering roll number click on submit button
6. Result of CTET 2019 will be displayed on screen
7. Download the result and save it for future reference

CTET result 2019 includes details i.e candidate’s name, roll number, total marks and subject wise marks secured. Further to this, qualified candidates, based on their marks in CTET 2019 exam, can apply as teachers across the schools run by the central government, schools under the control of UTs, private schools, schools owned and managed by the state government/local bodies subject to their qualifying status in the interview. Earlier, CBSE had released the answer key of CTET in online mode. Along with the answer key, the authority had also released the scanned images of OMR sheets.

Candidates who will qualify CTET paper I are eligible to apply as teachers from class I to V, while those who qualified paper II can apply as teachers from class VI to VIII. While, qualified candidates, who had opted for both paper I and II and have qualified both papers, can apply as teachers of class I to VIII.
