AKTU Lucknow warns students against fake pages, individuals offering help in return for money
Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University shared fake Twitter, Facebook accounts offering financial help and asking for money.
NEW DELHI: Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow has warned students against fake pages, individuals and organizations posing as the university and asking for money in lieu of helping students in financial work.
“All the students are requested not to give any kind of money to any person in lieu of getting any work done in AKTU. The declared fee prescribed by the university is deposited only at the university counter / student ERP login / official website of the university,” AKTU tweeted.

“Apart from the declared charges, no amount can be taken by any person or organization in any way. Any such transaction is a fraud. Doing so is a punishable cognizable offense. Strict action will be taken against whoever is involved in such acts,” the university added.
In case of any such fraud, AKTU asked students to inform the school at the nearest police station at email@example.com and said that action will be taken.
In the screenshots shared by the University, a fake individual named Kaushik Akash said in a tweet, “If any student wants any help related to bank then contact here.” Another screenshot included a fake Facebook account named as “AKTU Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University” which read “it is not official group. It is help all AKTU students purpose.”
