AMU Placement 2022: 48 MCA students hired by top IT companies

NEW DELHI: A total of 48 Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) students studying in Masters in Computer Application and Engineering programme were hired by top IT companies such as Cognizant, LTI Spark and KiwiTech in an on-campus recruitement drive. The drive was conducted by the Training and Placement Office of the Department of Computer Science and the General Training and Placement Office.

“The hired students have been selected to work in various roles in these multinational companies after rigorous online aptitude tests and technical interviews”, said Professor Aasim Zafar, chairman, Department of Computer Science.

Saad Hameed, General Training and Placement Officer extended congratulations and urged the hired students to work hard and represent AMU as brand ambassadors.

Recently, 80 AMU students were placed in the recruitment fair, SAIRAAB. The companies which participated in the recruitment fair of AMU included Stepping Cloud, Marque Impex, TeleCRM, Suo Jobs, Believe Pte. Ltd, UHM Vacations, Mindtel Global Pvt Ltd, Bansal Classes, Antal, Feedpro and others.

The event aimed to provide placements to recently passed out and final year under graduate and post graduate students belonging to different courses. Over 1,000 students registered and more than 20 companies participated in the recruitment fair.
