AP ECET 2023 exam postponed; now on June 20
The qualifying percentage marks for obtaining a rank in AP ECET 2023 is 25 percent of the aggregate marks.
NEW DELHI: The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has postponed the exam date of the state’s Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP ECET). The AP ECET 2023 will now be held on June 20. AP ECET was scheduled to be conducted on May 5.

Announcing the postponement, a statement on the official website -- cets.apsche.ap.gov.in, said: “The AP ECET-2023 Examination is postponed from 05.05.2023(Friday) to 20.06.2023 (Tuesday).”
AP ECET scores are used for admission to first-year undergraduate BTech and BPharm programmes. AP ECET 2023 will be held online as computer-based test (CBT). Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Kakinada administers AP ECET on behalf of APSCHE.
As per the AP ECET 2023 dates, the preliminary answer key will be issued on June 23, Candidates will also have the opportunity to raise objections against the AP ECET 2023 preliminary answer key till June 25.
The qualifying percentage marks for obtaining a rank in AP ECET 2023 is 25 percent of the aggregate marks, or 50 marks out of a total of 200, in the four subjects (three subjects for BSc mathematics). However, in the case of SC/ST candidates, there shall be no minimum qualifying marks for ranking the candidates. The rank obtained with the benefit of relaxation of the minimum qualifying marks at the APECET [FDH and BSc (with mathematics as one of the optional subjects)] 2023 by any candidate claiming to belong to SC or ST category will be cancelled in case the claim is found to be invalid at the time of admission, the AP ECET 2023 notification said.
