NEW DELHI: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has warned students and guardians against fake phone calls by unscrupulous elements claiming to increase marks in Class 10, 12 board exams 2024 in return for money while posing as board members. The board clarified that the answer sheets of BSEB Inter, Matric exams 2024 are completely secured and no changes can be made.

BSEB appealed to the concerned Bihar board students and parents to file a First Information Report (FIR) in police or a complaint in the cyber cell against the person calling. Bihar board also urged them to inform it about the phone call.

“Information is being received that some anti-social elements, posing as representatives of the committee, are demanding money from the general public through phone calls and temptation is being given by them to wrongly increase the marks of students in Intermediate and annual secondary examination, 2024,” said BSEB in an official statement.

‘This is completely wrong, undesirable and illegal, for which it is necessary to take strict legal action against such anti-social elements,” the board said.

BSEB Matric, Inter Exams 2024: Answer sheets ‘confidential’

Giving clarity over the confidentiality of the answer sheets, the board said that the answer sheets of BSEB 10th, 12th board exams 2024 are completely barcoded and their confidentiality remains intact.

“It is not possible to convert marks in answer sheets at any level. It is clear from this that anti-social elements are trying to commit unwanted acts. There is no involvement of any committee employee in this at any level,” BSEB added.

Therefore, there is an appeal to the general public that if they receive any phone call regarding this, then they should immediately lodge an FIR against such people in the local police station by giving the phone number or file a complaint in the concerned cyber crime cell, the board went on to say.

“Do not fall into the trap of such anti-social elements under any circumstances. Besides, it is also requested to inform the committee about such anti-social elements so that strict action can be taken against them,” BSEB further iterated.
