BITSAT 2021 starts tomorrow; Know items allowed inside exam centre, instructions

BITS Pilani will conduct the BITSAT 2021 exam from tomorrow, August 3. Candidates who are going to appear in the BITS Admission Test 2021 can check the list of items allowed inside the exam centre and other exam day guidelines.

NEW DELHI: Birla Institute of Science and Technology (BITS Pilani) is going to conduct the BITSAT 2021 from tomorrow, August 3. The Birla Institute of Science and Technology Admission Test 2021 will be held till August 9 as a computer based test. Candidates who are going to appear in the BITS admission test 2021 are advised to carefully check all the BITSAT 2021 guidelines released by the authorities.

BITSAT 2021 - Self-declaration form

The exam conducting authorities released the BITSAT 2021 admit card on July 17 on the official website - bitsadmission.com. Along with the release of the BITS BTech hall ticket 2021, the authorities have also released the BITSAT 2021 self-declaration form. In the BITSAT self-declaration form, students are required to provide details about COVID-19 symptoms, whether they have any symptom related to coronavirus or have come in contact with a COVID-19 positive person or have tested positive earlier. Students have to show the signed self-declaration form to the security guard at the time of the entry in the BITSAT exam centre 2021.

BITSAT 2021 - Items allowed inside the exam centre

Candidates can carry the following items inside the BITSAT 2021 exam centre.

  • Mask

  • Gloves

  • Hand sanitizer (50 ml)

  • Transparent water bottle

  • A simple pen with transparent cover

  • Exam related documents such as BITSAT 2021 admit card, self-declaration form, and a valid id proof.

BITSAT 2021 - Exam day instructions

  • Students must maintain social distancing at the BITSAT 2021 exam centre all the time.

  • Candidates having COVID-19 symptoms will not be allowed inside the exam centre.

  • To maintain social distance at the exam centre, the authorities will send the entry time slot to each BITSAT aspirant through SMS.

  • Mapping of application and lab number will not be displayed outside the exam centre. Students will be informed about their lab number individually at the time of entry.

  • Candidates will not be allowed to carry devices like calculators, bags, mobile phones, electronic gadgets etc., to the test venue.

BITSAT 2021 will be conducted from August 3 to 9 as a computer based test. It is conducted for admission into the undergraduate courses offered by the BITS campuses.
