NEW DELHI: Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) will start the Class 10 compartmental exams today. The exams will be held from May 10 to 13 in pen-paper format. All those students who had applied for BSEB Class 10 compartment exams through secondary.biharboardonline.com will be given the chance to appear for the exams.

Two shifts will be conducted each day for BSEB Class 10 compartmental exams. The first shift will be from 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM and the second shift will be from 2 PM to 5:15 PM .

The option to apply for compartment exams was given to all those students who failed either one or two subjects in BSEB Class 10 exams. The purpose of conducting BSEB Class 10 compartmental exams is to allow candidates to improve their scores and qualify for the exams in order to proceed to the next academic year. In order to qualify for the class 10 matric exam, the student must secure 30% of the total marks in the theory and 40% of the total marks in the practical exams of each subject.

The exams are scheduled to take place in the following format as per the date sheet issued on the official website biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in:

BSEB declared the result for the Class 10 board exams on March 31 and the pass percentage this year was 81.04% which is 16,10,657 students.
