NEW DELHI: The CBSE Class 12th exams have been cancelled this year. The Central Board of Secondary Education has not announced the alternative evaluation criteria to compute the CBSE results of Class 12 but is expected to do so soon. Keeping in mind how critical the Class 12 results are for admission to undergraduate courses at many major central and state universities, Careers360 has launched the CBSE 12th Result/ Percentage Predictor.

The CBSE Result Predictor 2021 is a free tool by Careers360 that has been devised using parameters like stream of the candidate, the marks obtained in internal assessments in schools, performance in Class 11 and other details that are likely to be factors in computing the CBSE Class 12 results 2021. Students need to enter some basic details such as their name, stream, marks in internal assessment and the predictor comes up with an estimated percentage for the result of CBSE Class 12. This predictor for CBSE 12th class results can be used free by students to evaluate their chances of admission to the undergraduate course they aspire to join.

The CBSE 12th Result/ Percentage Predictor tool however is based on the inputs provided by the students and gives an estimated percentage which is indicative only. Plus, the actual formula for computing results is yet to be announced.

The CBSE Class 12 exams were cancelled on June 2 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The decision was taken after a meeting with Union ministers and education officials, chaired by the prime minister, Narendra Modi. PM Modi said that the “health and safety of our students is of utmost importance and there would be no compromise on this aspect”.

The CBSE has also announced that students who are unhappy with the scores assigned to them through CBSE’s alternative assessment scheme will be given a chance to appear for the board exams to be conducted by CBSE when the situation is conducive.
