While speaking on the CBSE Class 12 computer science paper analysis, Renu Varshney, Computer Science Teacher, Billabong High International School (BHIS), Malad (Mumbai) said: "The question paper was not lengthy. The questions overall were moderate and fair. The ranges of marks in each section can assist students to score well because the question paper was designed in such a manner. A bulk of the theory-based problems were simple to resolve, but the programming questions, which were focused on technical application, were challenging, even when an internal choice was given. I am confident that students would score well in this subject."
As per Computer Science HoD, Divya Saini of EuroSchool Whitefield (Bengaluru) the CS paper was moderately difficult and a little tricky with respect to the one-mark questions, whereas DBMS (Database Management System) based questions were relatively easy. The one-mark questions were tricky, whereas five markers were mostly from the sample papers. Overall, the paper was fair.

Despite the difficulty level, students were able to complete the paper within the given time limit.
Sudina, Senior Faculty Computer Science Department, JAIN International Residential School, Bengaluru, reviewed the CS paper and stated, "The multiple-choice questions were a bit tricky. There was no specific area that posed a challenge, and the students were able to answer all of the programming questions. One question in Section A (Question No. 5) contained an error, and one output question in Section D had an error as well. Overall, the paper was in line with the syllabus, and the board provided a similar question paper pattern to that of the CBSE sample paper."
