NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct the CBSE Class 10 SST exam today from 10:30 am. Students must carry their Class 10 admit card with them to avoid any inconvenience. Also, they are advised to reach the examination center at least 30-45 minutes before the commencement of the exam.

The CBSE Class 10 Social science exam will conclude at 12:20 PM. The duration of the exam is 2 hours. Students will get extra 15 minutes to read and understand the SST question paper.

CBSE Class 10 Social Science Exam Pattern 2022

CBSE board social science exam 2022 Class 10 question paper has been divided into 5 sections.

  • Section A comprises 5 questions of 2 marks each.

  • Section B comprises 3 questions of 3 marks each.

  • Section C comprises 2 questions of 5 marks each.

  • Section D consists of 2 case-based questions. Section E is map based, carrying 3 marks with two parts.

  • Students must solve CBSE social science previous years question papers as many times as possible.

  • They must check CBSE Class 10 social science term 2 exam pattern to know the important details.

  • They should check the CBSE marking scheme which is provided by the board on cbseacademic.nic.in.

  • They should canary all the important items such as pen, pencil, and others.

  • Using unfair means during the exam shall be dealt with strictly.

  • Electronic devices such as smart watches, pendrive, mobile phones will not be allowed in the examination hall.
