NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education has allowed candidates who could not complete or attempt the Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET) 2021 examination of Paper 1 held on December 16 to reappear for the test on January 17, 2022.

As per the CBSE’s latest notice, “it is noticed that some of the candidates could not complete/attempt the examination of Paper 1 (first shift) on16/12/2021 due to technical issues. Such candidates are hereby informed that their examination of Paper 1 will be conducted on 17/01/2022 (Monday) in second shift i.e. 2.30 PM to 5 PM.”

Candidates can download the revised CTET admit card on the official website, ctet.nic.in. The CBSE has advised candidates to download their revised admit cards to appear in the CTET examination at the respective centres as per the revised schedule.

The CBSE has also informed candidates that the request for change of examination city, examination centre and date of examination will not be entertained.

On January 11, the CBSE had released the new dates for the postponed CBSE CTET exam 2021 which was to be held on December 16 (Shift 2) and December 17 (both shifts) 2021. The revised dates for the postponed CTET 2021 exam at Purnia/Purnea was conducted on January 12, 2022.

The CTET exams scheduled on December 16 (Shift 2) and December 17, 2021, will be held on January 17 and 21, respectively, the CBSE said in the notice.
