Centre launches Chandrayaan 3 MahaQuiz at mygov.in; best performer to get Rs 1 lakh cash prize
Runner up and second runner up of union government's Chandrayaan 3 MahaQuiz will get cash awards of Rs 75,000 and Rs 50,000.
The ISRO quiz have 10 questions.
NEW DELHI: The union government has launched Chandrayaan 3 MahaQuiz to enable people to explore the country’s lunar journey. The quiz has been launched on official website, isroquiz.mygov.in, following the successful landing of Chandrayaan 3 on the south pole of the Moon.
In a post on X, Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) said, "@mygovindia has organised Chandrayaan-3 MahaQuiz honouring India's amazing space exploration journey, to explore the wonders of the moon, and to demonstrate our love of science and discovery. All Indian Citizens are invited to take the Quiz at isroquiz.mygov.in."
The UGC has also said on its X account, “Participation in the quiz competition on Chandrayaan-3 organised by @mygovindia.”
Chandrayaan 3 Quiz: Only for students
The quiz competition is only for students. They will have to answer 10 questions in 5 minutes. Students will be awarded exciting prizes. The participants performing the best will get an award of Rs 1,00,000. The runner up and second runner up will get cash prizes of Rs 75,000 and Rs 50,000, respectively.
The next 100 best performers will be awarded Rs 2,000 each while the next 200 best performers will be awarded a consolation prize of Rs 1,000 each.
The website also has a message from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It reads, "I will request students to participate in Chandrayaan 3 mahaquiz which will help them to explore about country's lunar mission." It also contains the video Chandrayaan-3 mission’s launch and journey, and PM Modi's message to ISRO scientists.
