CS June 2021: ICSI starts enrollment for CS foundation, intermediate and professional exams

NEW DELHI: The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has started accepting applications for CS Foundation, CS Executive and Professional exams scheduled to be held in June 2021. Candidates appearing for ICSI CS June 2021 exams can check the enrollment details on the official website - icsi.edu. The last date to submit the CS examination form 2021 will be March 25. Candidates can also enrol for ICSI CS Foundation, Executive and Professional exams till April 9 but will have to pay a late fee.

The ICSI June 2021 application form for CS Foundation, Executive and Professional exams will be accepted in online mode only.

The ICSI does not ordinarily allow changes in the ICSI examination form once it is submitted. The official ICSI notification mentions that “Students are advised to select the Examination Centre, Combination of Module(s), Medium of Examination (English OR Hindi), etc. carefully. Students are advised to verify the parameters selected by them meticulously since for all changes in enrollment status, even if allowed up to certain stipulated dates, an additional fee as decided from time to time will be levied.”

However, the institute provides exceptions to students in a few unavoidable circumstances. Such students can make changes in their CS examination Centre, combination module(s), the medium of examination and cancellation of paper-wise exemptions within a certain time frame.

The ICSI will allow changes in the CS June 2021 examination form between April 10 and May 1, 2021. An additional fee of Rs 250 will be levied for each change in the CS application form.

Students who change their CS examination centre 2021 located in India to Dubai will have to pay an extra charge of US$ 100 or Rs 7,229 along with the centre change fee of Rs 250.

Compulsory switchover from old to new syllabus for CS Executive, Professional Programme: The June 2021 session will be the last examination to be held under the old syllabus of the Executive and Professional programme. All students enrolled with the CS executive and professional programme will need to switch to the new syllabus from the upcoming ICSI CS December 2021 session.

Pre-Examination Test: All students appearing in the CS executive and professional examinations for June 2021 session under the new syllabus are required to complete a pre-examination test. The eligibility to appear in the main examination will depend on the successful completion of the ICSI pre-examination test. The institute has released information on this test in the form of a detailed FAQ section.

ICSI CS December 2020 examination: Status of applications

The ICSI authorities have provided the students with a provision to check the application status of their verification of marks, inspections of answer books or supply of certified copies of answer sheets. Applicants can check their status by entering their roll number or registration in the ICSI December 2020 application status window.
