CSIR UGC NET December 2023 correction window opens on December 6; what can be edited?

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will open the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (CSIR UGC NET) December 2023 correction window on December 6. Candidates will be able to edit CSIR NET application on the official website, csirnet.nta.ac.in.

Applicants can make changes in the basic details entered in the application form. “Any request for change in such particulars after the closure of the correction period will not be considered by NTA,” the information bulletin said.

Candidates will be given a two days time period to make changes in the particulars added in the CSIR UGC NET application 2023. As per the schedule, the exam will be conducted on December 26, 27 and 28. The exam will be held in computer-based test (CBT) mode for a duration of 3 hours.

CSIR NET Application: What can be edited

Candidates can edit the following details in the already submitted application form.

  • Candidate’s name,
  • Contact details
  • Address,
  • Category,
  • PwD status,
  • Educational qualification details,
  • Date of birth,
  • Choice of exam cities.

The documents will have to be scanned and uploaded in the specified format. Candidate’s photograph should be uploaded in JPG file size 10 kb - 200 kb and signature in JPG file size 4kb - 30kb.

Duly verified result, category certificate, PwD certificate should be scanned and uploaded in PDF format with file size 50kb - 500kb and 50kb - 300kb respectively.

“The City for Examination Centre once chosen and allotted cannot be changed (after the closing of the correction window) and any request in this regard will not be entertained,” the NTA said.
