Delhi University to offer 2 seats in UG, PG courses to orphans from next academic year: DU Executive Council

NEW DELHI: Around 1,730 candidates have secured admission to undergraduate programmes in the second spot round of Delhi University. Candidates can make the online fee payment against allotted seats till today, December 6, 2022. A total of 4,383 candidates were allotted seats in DU spot admission 2022 round-2.

The seat allocation during the DU spot round is final, therefore, there will be no option to upgrade or withdraw seats for the candidates allotted in the spot round. "It will be mandatory for the candidate to take admission to the seat allocated in a spot round. Failure to accept the allocated seat in the spot admission round will forfeit the candidate's eligibility for admission to UoD and she/he will be out of CSAS,” read a DU notification.
DU released the second spot admission list 2022 on December 2. Over 19,000 candidates applied for around 12,000 seats in Delhi University colleges in the second spot allocation round.
A total of 4,118 candidates secured admission in the first round of DU spot admission 2022. Whereas, 59,401 students had secured admission to undergraduate programmes across Delhi University colleges till the third round of Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS). The third round of seat allocation in the university ended on November 17.
The university recorded a total of 62,231 admissions as of November 27, 2022. There are 70,000 seats in the university's undergraduate programmes.
