Goa Institute of Management records 100% placements; highest international package at Rs 60.4 LPA

GIM Placements 2022: The PGDM programme saw a 20% increase in average CTC as compared to last year. Shalina Healthcare offered the highest package for students.

NEW DELHI: Goa Institute of Management (GIMS) has recently concluded the final placements for the postgraduate diploma in management (PGDM) and the big data analytics programme. The PGDM and big data analytics programmes witnessed 100% placement for the 2021-23 batch, GIMS said in a statement.

GIMA placements for the healthcare management programme is also ongoing. Two students of the healthcare management programme were offered the highest international package of Rs 60.4 lakh per annum by Shalina Healthcare. The highest domestic offer of Rs 29.13 lakh per annum was offered by Johnson & Johnson.

The institute said that the PGDM programme saw a 20% increase in the average CTC as compared to last year. The highest salary stood at Rs 55 lakh per annum and the average CTC was at Rs 14.6 LPA. The top recruiters for PGDM were Microsoft ,Bain & Co, Reliance Industries, CRIF.

On the other hand, big data analytics (BDA) course saw new recruiters including Amazon, HDFC, Flipkart, CRIF, Lowe's Inc. and the Trident Group.

The sector-wise placements saw recruitment in the fields of FMCG, IT etc., with roles offered like business analyst, data analyst, data scientist, data architect, cloud data architect, market research analyst, and product manager. The highest CTC for the BDA programme was Rs 40.2 LPA and the average CTC offered to students at Rs 17.2 LPA.

"The youngest banking and financial services programme offered by the institute has also completed 100 percent placement for the Batch of 2021-23 and witnessed a Highest placement offer of Rs 27 lakh per annum and recorded an average CTC of Rs 14.3 lakh per annum," the institute said.
