NEW DELHI: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) will be conducting the GSEB board exam 2023 for Classes 10 and 12 from today, March 14. Gujarat board Class 10 students will be appearing for the first language papers, while Class 12 students will take the physical science paper.

GSEB board exam 2023 for Class 10 will continue till March 28, while those of Class 12 students will go on until March 25, 2023. Students will have to carry a hard copy of the hall tickets to the exam centre, failing to do which, they will be denied entry to the exam hall.

GSEB board exam 2023: Timings

The exams for Class 10 and 12 will be conducted by the GSHSEB in a single shift. The papers will begin at 9:30 am and will end at 12:30 pm. The papers will be held in offline mode.

GSEB board exam 2023: Items to be carried to the exam centre

Students should mandatorily carry the following items to the exam centre.

● Admit card

● Valid government-issued photo ID proof such as Aadhar card, PAN card, Voter ID, passport etc.

● Stationery items

● Water bottles

● Sanitizer bottles

GSEB board exam 2023: Guidelines

Ahead of the exam, students about to appear in it should go through the guidelines to avoid any hassles.

● All students are required to report at the exam centre at least 60 minutes prior to the scheduled time of commencement of the exam.

● First 15 minutes will be given to the students, in which they should go through the question paper in detail.

● They must mandatorily carry the hard copy of the hall tickets along with a valid photo ID proof for verification purposes at the exam centre.

● No prohibited items or devices must be carried by the students to the exam centre. Prohibited items include books, notebooks, blank paper sheets, mobile phones, earphones, tablets, bluetooth devices, speakers and electronic chips.

● Students must bring their own stationery items, as they will not be allowed to borrow anything from the fellow examinees at the exam centre.

● They must refrain from malpractices such as cheating, copying etc, as the same will result in the cancellation of candidature.
