Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University extends B.Tech/M.Tech application process till April 17

NEW DELHI: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has extended the application process for the B.Tech and M.Tech courses till April 17 (11:50 PM). The application form was released on March 3 in online mode for both courses. The authorities have also revised the application correction facility dates and exam dates. However, the examination will be held only for B.Tech Biotechnology and M.Tech courses (non-GATE qualified candidates).

Steps to fill the application form:

  • Registration: Candidates will have to register using the required details such as name, preferred course and more.

  • Filling of Form: Next, the candidates will have to login using the generated credentials to submit the personal, academic and contact information. Preferred exam centres also have to be selected.

  • Upload Documents: Scanned images of the candidate’s photograph and signature has to be uploaded.

  • Fee Payment - The application fee of Rs. 1200 has to be paid in online mode (net banking/debit card/credit card).

  • Print Out - The application form has to be submitted and printed out for future use.

What after the application process?

Registered candidates will be able to use the application form correction facility from April 18 to 20, 2020 in online mode. During this period, the candidates will be able to correct any mistakes made while filling out the application form.

About IPU B.Tech/M.Tech Admissions

GGSIPU will be conducting B.Tech admissions on the basis of JEE Main scores. There will be no entrance examination (except for Biotechnology). Similarly for M.Tech admissions, the candidates will be allotted seats on the basis of GATE scores. However, for non-GATE qualified candidates, an entrance test will be held. The entrance examination will now be held between May 20 to 30, 2020.
