HPTU 2020 B.Tech counselling choice filling correction open till 5 pm; seat allotment on Oct 15

NEW DELHI: The concerned authorities at Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) have provided candidates with a chance to make corrections in the choice of institutes filled in HPTU Counselling 2020 first round for B.Tech admissions. Candidates can also avail this chance to upload documents or replace the existing ones. It may be noted that the facility has been opened till October 14 (5 pm) only.

As the candidates have been provided with the chance to make corrections in the choice filling under round 1, the HPTU seat allotment which was earlier scheduled to be announced on October 14 has been postponed to October 15.

The authorities have opened this facility for candidates who could not select the institutes of their choice or did not upload the requisite documents within the period specified under HPTU counselling round 1. The authorities have made sure that such candidates are not deprived of admissions in Himachal Pradesh Technical University

Earlier, the authorities had provided the facility of choice filling under the first round of HPTU 2020 counselling from October 11 to 12 in online mode. Admissions shall be offered to 50% seats through JEE Main and the remaining 50% on the basis of 10+2 scores as HPCET (Entrance exam conducted by HPTU for admissions into various programmes) is not being conducted this year.
