NEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is all set to start the IAS interview 2021 process from August 2, 2021. The UPSC IAS interview 2021 is scheduled to continue till September 22. The IAS personality test will be held in two shifts daily - forenoon (9 AM onwards) and afternoon (1 PM onwards).

UPSC Civil Services Mains exam qualified candidates are eligible to appear for the UPSC CSE 2020 interview.

UPSC CSE Interview 2021: Know do’s and don’ts

  • First and the most important point: greet the UPSC CSE interview 2021 board members.

  • Do not beat about the bush and be honest in yours answers to the questions asked in the interview.

  • Justify your answer if contradicting the UPSC interview panel.

  • Get a good night's sleep before the UPSC IAS 2021 interview.

  • Think of the IAS interview as a conversation with a group of people and try to be rational and logical in putting your points forward.

  • If you make a mistake, accept it; it shows that you are willing to learn and have grace.

  • Stay positive and enthusiastic throughout the IAS interview process.

  • During the interview do not panic and show any kind of negative body language or attitude.

  • Give a precise answer to the questions asked in the IAS interview 2021. Do not blabber anything that comes to your mind.

  • Avoid commenting/ criticising the government policies, schemes, individual person, political party, etc.

  • Don’t try to act smart or coy in front of the IAS interview board.

  • Don’t talk too much or too little.

  • Do not bluff in the UPSC CSE personality test.

  • Avoid being too technical and factual in your answers.

About UPSC IAS 2021

The UPSC Civil Services selection process has three stages - prelims, mains and interview. Candidates qualifying all the stages of the UPSC IAS 2021 exam will be inducted as officers in different Group A and B services like Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foregin Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Forest Service (IFoS), Indian Revenue Service (IRS), etc.

UPSC IAS 2021 prelims exam is scheduled to be held on October 10, 2021.
