IBPS SO Main 2023: Tips to score maximum marks

Talking about last minute preparation with the IBPS SO examination in two days, Unacademy Educator, Kapil Kathpal has given an IBPS SO Main exam preparation strategy to successfully clear the exam.

  • Study Plan: The IBPS SO candidates need time management, make a list of difficult topics and allot separate time for revision of such topics. This will help them in balancing all important topics and time optimisation during preparations.
  • Self-analysis through mock tests and previous question papers: To improve your understanding of the paper’s pattern and level of difficulty, it is important that aspirants attempt the previous year's papers and various mock tests. This will not only help them stay confident but will also help them with time management. Further, mock tests will help aspirants in evaluating their strengths and identify the areas that need improvement.
  • Follow a set pattern while attempting the paper: Ensure you are consistent in following a preset pattern while attempting the question paper. This will help aspirants to avoid making the same mistakes and losing marks to negative markings in the Mains. In the exam, attempt the easy questions first. One shouldn’t waste time on a question if they are stuck. Move on to the next question and come back to it later.
  • Apart from all the tips above, aspirants should always try to keep themselves updated by reading national newspapers on a daily basis. Focus more on business pages as well as the latest national and international updates around various topics prior to the exam.
