NEW DELHI: The Institute of Company Secretaries in India (ICSI) has announced that the students enrolled under the old syllabus in 2017 can switch over to CS Executive new syllabus 2022 comprising 7 papers. Such candidates will have to apply for the switch over on April 10, 2023 at icsi.edu.
The first examination based on the CS Executive new syllabus will be held in December. Students are not required to pay any charges for switchover to the new syllabus 2022. However, students will not be able to reverse switchover.
The institute has exempted 2017 syllabus students opting for the new syllabus from appearing in some subject papers. However, students will not be able to reverse switchover.
Students will also be able to purchase ICSI CS Executive study materials under new syllabus 2022 from the sale centers of the Institute.
Students switching over to the new syllabus 2022 of the CS Executive programme will also be required to complete a pre-examination test to become eligible for enrolling in the main examinations.

How to apply for ICSI new syllabus 2022
Students will have to follow the steps given below to apply for switch over to ICSI CS Executive new syllabus 2022.
- Visit ICSI official website, icsi.edu.
- Click on the “Online services” link on the homepage.
- Now, click on link “New Foundation Student Login/Executive Student Login”
- Click on Module > Switch Over > Apply For Switch Over.
- After reviewing the application, press “Confirm”.
