NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) has launched an Integrated Programme in Management for the academic year 2022-23 at the IIFT Kakinada campus. The IPM programme will begin from September 2022, and the registration process is expected to begin in the first week of May 2022. Candidates can keep checking the IIFT official website for updates.

"The curriculum of the programme is designed in line with New Education Policy 2020 and aims at imparting management and decision-making skills to young professionals in order to integrate management education with science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM)," said a statement from IIFT.

The statement further states that those who complete the IIFT IPM programme will be awarded a Bachelor of Business Administration (Business Analytics) and a Master of Business Administration (International Business). Around 40 students will be inducted into the programme for the 2022-23 academic year.

IIFT IPM programme eligibility criteria

The score of the IPMAT 2022 exam conducted by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore will be assessed by the IIFT for the admission procedure. IIFT admission will be based on IPMAT 2022 score, the academic profile of Class 10 and gender diversity.

  • Candidates should have passed Classes 10+2 examination in arts, commerce or science stream or equivalent with ar least 60 percent marks in the year 2020, 2021 or appearing in 2022. Candidates from the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) communities, persons with disabilities (PwD) and transgenders can score 55 percent in Classes 12 to get IIFT admission to the IPM programme.
  • The applicant must have passed the Class 10 exam with a minimum of 60 percent (55 percent for candidates from SC, ST, PwD, transgender) or more, not before 2018.

“The IPM Programme will impart knowledge and skills to students for managerial roles in the varied management functions across different industries. With the rigorous and holistic curriculum, students will be able to demonstrate problem-solving skills supported by appropriate analytical techniques and will use ethical and socially-conscious judgement while analysing business situations. Equipping students with conceptual, analytical, statistical, and interpersonal skills for managerial decision making is the objective,” said Manoj Pant, vice-chancellor of IIFT.
