IIM Bangalore to host 48th convocation ceremony on March 31
IIMB will award gold medals to graduate students for best overall performance, first rank and second rank.
NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore will host its 48th convocation ceremony on the premises on March 31, 2023. The ceremony will begin at 5 pm, in which chairman and managing director of Bharat Forge Ltd, Baba Kalyani, will be in attendance.
Degrees will be handed over to the students of the Doctor of philosophy (PhD) and MBA disciplines. Students who have completed their degrees in the Post graduate programme in Enterprise Management (PGPEM), executive post graduate programme in management, post graduate programme in business analytics and post graduate programme in management will receive their degrees. Awards will include distribution of gold medals for best all-round performance, first rank and second rank.
Kalyani will also deliver the convocation address on the occasion. A statement from the institute said that the event will completely be held in the offline mode this year.
“Chairperson of the board of Governors of IIM Bangalore, Devi Prasad Shetty will share his message, which will be followed by the address of the director of the institute, Rishikesha T Krishnan, who will highlight the achievements and accomplishments of IIM Bangalore. The event will also be streamed live on YouTube”, official notification released by the institute said.
