Due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis in the country, the theme for the program is “defying the challenging times”. The online program includes interactions via webinars, interactive sessions, and engaging activities on how the business world is learning to adapt and advance in challenging circumstances including the present-day pandemic.

Apart from students and teachers, the nine-day long program will be attended by Janat Shah, IIM Udaipur director, members of the board of governors, various industry leaders as well as the alumni of the institute. The last session will conclude the program on June 27.

This year, IIM Udaipur has invited sports commentator and IIM Ahmedabad alumni Harsha Bhogle, Sameer Satpathy, and CEO of personal care ITC Ltd, among other guests. The event will be concluded with Satpathy’s address on ‘Reimagining Opportunities’.

Senior teachers, student club representatives, and alumni will also share their campus to corporate journey. “This is the ideal time for the management aspirants to reflect on their aspirations and goals and embark on the transformational journey at IIM Udaipur. We intend to give you a warm welcome into the IIMU Community and accelerate the learning process by providing an interactive platform with the various stakeholders of the institute and industry leaders,” said Shah on the inaugural day.

He further added, “Unnati is an opportunity for you to gain valuable insights from the Board of Governors, Faculty, Alumni, Industry Leader, and current students to clarify your expectations for yourself, the institute, and the two years ahead of you.”
