NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Udaipur has completed the summer placement process for the 2021-23 batch with an increase in average stipend by 65.72 percent to Rs 1,12,807. IIM Udaipur students received stipends up to Rs 3 lakh.

According to a statement from IIM Udaipur, the students received stipends up to Rs 3 lakh from the fast-moving consumer goods and consulting sector. Out of the 300 students who got placements through the institute, the top 10 percent received an average stipend of 2.62 lakh, the top 20 percent received an average of Rs 2.22 lakh and the top 50 percent received Rs1.61 lakh as average stipend.

IIM Udaipur’s 11th batch students received offers from more than 80 firms, out of which more than 50 were new recruiters. The institute saw a 60 percent increase in the number of offers being made from the consulting sector. Companies such as Airtel, Amadeus, Amazon, Amway, Bain and Co., Byju's, Crompton Greaves, Emami Agrotech, GamesKraft, IDFC First Bank, Info Edge, Mahindra Holidays, Malabar Group among others joined IIM Udaipur’s summer placements.

Many companies such as Accenture Strategy, Accenture Technology, Aditya Birla Capital, Amul, Asian Paints, Bajaj Auto, BNY Mellon, BPCL, Capgemini, Casio, Cisco, Cognizant, Cummins, among others who recruited IIM Udaipur students in the past returned with more offers, said the institute.
