IIT Madras, Texas Instruments India invite applications for MS Programme

New Delhi: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras and Texas Instruments India(TI) is calling for applications for the TII-IIT Madras MS programme, a statement from the institute said.

The programme is a blended one in analog, mixed-signal (AMS) and RF VLSI design. It provides a one-year classroom learning coupled with a two-year internship with Texas Instruments.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in electronics, telecommunications, instrumentation or allied disciplines in engineering with an aggregate of 65 percent. They should have a Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) score of 650 or more in electronics and communication, electrical engineering.

BTech students from the IITs with a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 8 or higher do not need to qualify the GATE. The last date for submitting an application is April 30, 2021.

About the programme

The Master in Science programme teaches its students an understanding of analog and mixed-signal VLSI in theory and practice. The students are made to focus on real-time industry level problem statements.

Further, the TII-sponsored programme provides students with a competitive stipend during their internship.
