NEW DELHI: The announcement of CBSE class 10 cancellation and postponement of Class 12 exams were welcomed by students across the country. On April 14, the education minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, after a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and CBSE officials notified that CBSE board exams have been cancelled and postponed due to a spike in the number of COVID-19 cases.

While one section of the students are now happy with the announcement, several other students are still worried due to the scheduled JEE Main 2021 April session. The National Testing Agency (NTA) which conducts the national-level entrance exam for engineering, JEE Main 2021, has not yet released any notification regarding JEE Main 2021 postponement. JEE Main 2021 April session is scheduled to be conducted from April 27 to 30.

JEE Main 2021 aspirants have swarmed Twitter with requests for the postponement of JEE Main 2021 exam. Since many other authorities have also announced or are in the process of cancelling or postponing exams, students are hoping to hear the news of JEE Main 2021 postponement soon.

One JEE Main 2021 aspirant tweeted, “Thanks a lot to our honorable education minister & prime minister for addressing the concern of students of class-X & XII and their parents. Would you kindly consider to postpone the JEE Main April 2021 exam also in view of unprecedented spread of Covid-19 virus.”

If NTA is planning to conduct the JEE Main April 2021 as per schedule, the JEE Main admit card 202 can be released anytime soon. Along with the JEE Main 2021 admit card, the authorities will also release the self-declaration form. Students will have to fill the declaration form and carry it to the exam centre.

The NTA has successfully conducted the two phases of JEE Main 2021 exam, in February and March. JEE Main 2021 exam dates for February and March sessions are February 23 to 26 and March 16 to 18 respectively.
