NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT-M) has published the Joint Entrance Examination - Advanced (JEE Advanced 2024) information brochure. The application process for JEE Advanced 2024 will begin on April 21 at the official website,

The JEE Advanced application fee 2024 has been increased for all categories, as per the latest information bulletin. The exam is held by seven zonal coordinating IITs under the Joint Admission Board 2024.

IIT-M had earlier notified the JEE Advanced 2024 exam date, schedule and syllabus on the official website,

The application fees for all categories has been increased, except for candidates under non-SAARC category which has been reduced to 100 US Dollar.

The performance of a candidate in JEE Advanced 2024 will form the basis for admission to the bachelors, integrated masters, and dual degree programmes in all the IITs in the academic year 2024-25. Other centrally funded institutes that use JEE Advanced ranks for admission are given below.

JEE Advanced 2024: Eligibility

As per the schedule, the exam will be held on May 26.

  • Candidates should be among the top 2,50,000 candidates, including all categories, in BE, BTech paper of JEE Main 2024.
  • Candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1999. Five years age relaxation is given to SC, ST, and PwD candidates. Such candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1994.
  • A candidate will be allowed to attempt JEE Advanced maximum of two times in two consecutive years.
  • A candidate should have appeared for the Class 12 exam for the first time in either 2023 or 2024 with physics, chemistry, and mathematics as compulsory subjects.
  • Students who had appeared for the first time in 2022 or earlier will not be eligible to appear in the exam.
