According to Saurabh Kumar, the recent announcement of the JEE Advanced 2023 syllabus revision has left many young aspirants wondering how they will prepare for the upcoming JEE examinations in 2022. It is vital to notice that the pattern and curriculum of JEE Main 2022 won't change, thus aspirants shouldn't agonize about this and will instead target their preparation and revision.
Revising the curriculum wouldn't make much difference in the preparation strategy, but candidates might not feel the added pressure. Since this will also lead to a non-competitive environment, one must not lose sight of the preparations. Therefore, always try theoretical/factual questions first, then questions that require calculation.
1. Begin with the NCERT books.
For the JEE entrance exams 2022, especially the JEE Main, NCERT books serve as a foundation. Many students make the mistake of starting with reference books before they have a firm grasp of their concepts and theoretical knowledge. NCERT books will provide you with a solid understanding of concepts and are thus the best place to begin your study. It's also worth mentioning that NCERT books account for 60-70 percent of the JEE Main exam 2022.
2. Revise wisely with a Systemized revision plan
In general, students either revise excessively or not at all. Revise each chapter thoroughly once you've finished it, but don't spend more than 2-3 hours doing so. To test your topic-by-topic concept clarity, create a systematic revision plan and adhere to it religiously. Students will succeed if they take a systematic approach to creating a proper revision plan.
3. Solve Multiple Mock Tests
Revision and practice tests will help them become more familiar with the subjects and concepts, as well as keep them up to date on the current trend and pattern of the JEE Mains exam 2022. Taking Mock Tests and getting a real-time analysis has been found to be extremely beneficial, as students are more likely to learn from their mistakes and avoid repeating them on the big day.
4. Prime focus should be on managing the time efficiently
In determining exam results, the right strategy, as well as time management, is critical. Make a study schedule based on the amount of time you have before your exams. Make it a habit to jot down key points while you're studying; it'll come in handy for quick revisions later.
5. Selecting the correct reference materials
Move on to reference books once you've finished your NCERT books. These books cover topics ranging from fundamental to advanced application-based questions. Through practice , reference books will greatly assist you in expanding your knowledge of concepts.
6. Clear your doubts:
Ask teachers, mentors, and peers for clarification and never be afraid to ask questions.
Concentrate more on polishing your strengths through constant revision to perfect your concepts. Self-written notes aid in the memorization of formulae, tips, and tricks, and are extremely useful during JEE preparation 2022 and easy to revise.
