NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is all set to release the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023 notification soon. A senior official at NTA had earlier told Careers360 that the JEE Main 2023 exam date is most likely to be announced this week. Once NTA JEE Main exam date 2023 is announced, the aspirants will be able to check detailed notification at IIT JEE Main official website - jeemain.nta.nic.in 2023. Alternatively, JEE Main application form 2023 release date and other details will also be available at NTA website - nta.ac.in.

As per various media reports, the JEE Main 2023 exam will be conducted two times- Mid January and April. However, there is no official confirmation on the JEE Main 2023 exam date yet. Recently, many IIT JEE aspirants have been demanding clarification on “how many attempts will JEE Mains 2023 have”. Although the NTA has not yet notified anything on JEE Main 2023 number of attempts, it is expected that the IIT JEE Main exam 2023 will be held twice.

JEE Mains 2023 exam: What to carry on exam day?

What is the basic eligibility criteria for JEE Mains 2023?

NTA has not released any official notification of JEE Mains 2023 yet. However, eligibility criteria of JEE Main 2023 will be released along with the official brochure at jeemain.nta.nic.in 2023. JEE Main 2023: Mode of IIT JEE exams

The NTA is expected to release the JEE Mains 2023 notification soon at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The JEE Main 2023 will be conducted in the following modes:

  • Paper 1 (B.E. /B. Tech.) in “Computer Based Test (CBT)” mode only.
  • Paper 2A (B. Arch): Mathematics (Part-I) and Aptitude Test (Part-II) in “Computer Based Test (CBT)” mode only and Drawing Test (Part-III) in pen and paper (offline) mode, to be attempted on drawing sheet of A4 size.

Will JEE Mains 2023 be tough?

In 2022 JEE Main exam level was moderate. Based on the analysis, Mathematics was moderate but quite lengthy. Physics was easy to moderate while chemistry was easy. Physics questions were based on current electricity, logic gates, semiconductors, kinematics, transistors and communication system. The questions in mathematics were based on calculus, conic session, circles,trigonometry, and straight lines. So, we can expect the JEE Main 2023 to be moderate. Chemistry paper were based on Inorganic chemistry, metallurgy, biomolecules, organic chemistry and S & P block. We are expecting JEE Main 2023 to be moderate.

NTA JEE Mains 2023: How to access JEE Main login

Candidates will be able to access the JEE Main 2023 login only after submitting the IIT JEE application form. The JEE Main 2023 registration form will be released soon at jeemain.nta.nic.in. JEE Main 2023 exam registration: Specification of documents

It is mandatory for aspirants to upload all the required documents in the application form of JEE Main 2023 as per the specified format. 

  • The recent photograph should be either in colour or black & white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against a white background.

  • Scanned photograph and signature should be in JPG/JPEG format (clearly legible).

  • The size of the scanned photograph should be between 10 kb to 200 kb (clearly legible).

  • The size of the scanned signature should be between 4 kb to 30 kb (clearly legible)
