JEE Main 2023 Physics: Formula-based questions asked in Jan 24, 25 exams; Know how to score better

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the JEE Main 2023 session 1 exam. Till now, the JEE Main 2023 exams were moderate to easy in difficulty level. The physics section was comparatively easy than the mathematics and chemistry sections in paper 1 exams conducted on January 24 and January 25. JEE Main January 31 Live Updates

As per the day 1 shift 1 question paper analysis, the physics section had questions from Electrostatics, Magnetism, Current Electricity and Modern Physics, EM Waves, Laws of Motion, Semiconductors, Kinematics, Heat and Thermodynamics. Also, a few fact-based questions from NCERT Class 12 were also asked.

JEE Main 2023 day 1 shift 2 paper had questions from all chapters with a few good questions from Work, Power & Energy, Wave Optics, Electrostatics, EM Waves, Modern Physics, Kinetic Theory of Gases, Magnetism, Kinematics, Heat & Thermodynamics. The numerical-based questions were easy. And overall it was a balanced section.

In the January 25 shift 1 JEE exam, questions from modern physics were more. There were some questions from the electricity chapter while one question was from gravitation. The most asked topics were Laws of Motion, Rotational Motion, Carnot Engine, Work, Power and Energy, Simple Harmonic Motion, Ray Optics, Capacitance, Magnetism, Semi-Conductors, Communication Systems, Modern Physics, Centre of Mass, and Electrostatics.

Additionally, the JEE Main 2023 day 2 shift 2 physics paper had formula-based questions and was an easy-to-moderate paper. The questions were from Gravitation, Rotational Motion, Work, Power & Energy, Wave Optics, Electrostatics, Modern Physics, Units & Dimensions, Semiconductors, Magnetism, Kinematics, Heat & Thermodynamics topics.
