NEW DELHI: The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main 2023) BArch, BPlanning exam is to be held in the second shift today, January 28. The engineering entrance exam will be held from 3 PM to 6:30 PM. Aspirants will have to report at the examination centre two hours before the commencement of JEE Main paper 2. The gate closing time will be half an hour before the commencement of the exam.

JEE Main 2023 Paper 2 Live Updates

The JEE Main2023 BArch paper, or Paper 2A, will comprise of three sections -- Mathematics, Aptitude Test and Drawing. The question paper will carry 82 questions for a total of 400 marks. While the JEE Main BPlanning paper, or Paper 2B, will consist of Mathematics, Aptitude Test and Planning-based questions and will have 105 questions.

It is mandatory for candidates to carry the hard copy of JEE Main admit card 2023 printed on A4 sheet along with the self declaration form duly signed in and a valid photo ID proof at the exam centre for verification purpose. Aspirants who wear specific attire due to religious reasons must report to the exam centre early for the mandatory frisking process.

Candidates must avoid carrying any kind of prohibited items including mobile phones, electronic gadgets, watches, calculators, their own stationery items, pens, or wallets. They should also avoid wearing any jewellery (or any metal items), shoes/footwear with thick soles, and garments with large buttons inside the exam hall.

As per the NTA exam day guidelines, rough sheets and other writing material will be provided to candidates at the exam centre which they have to handover to the invigilator in the examination hall after the completion of the exam. Students will not be allowed to leave the examination before the exam's conclusion time.
