NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency is expected to release the JEE Main result 2021 for the February session by March 7 at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates will be able to check their JEE Main 2021 result using their application number and password.

Candidates will be able to check their results on the official website using their application number and password.

Normalization process

How NTA scores/ percentile scores are calculated? The NTA scores of the candidates will not be the raw scores obtained by them in the exam. As the JEE Main 2021 February session exam was conducted in various shifts; a percentile score or the NTA score is calculated based on the relative performance of candidates in different shifts of the exam.

Formula for calculating Percentile Scores

Total Percentile (T1P):

(100 x Number of candidates from the session with a raw score equal to or less than T1 score) / Total number of candidates appeared in the session

Mathematics Percentile (M1P)

(100 x Number of candidates appeared from the session with a raw score equal to or less than M1 score in Mathematics)

/ Total number of candidates who appeared in the session

Physics Percentile (P1P)

(100 x Number of candidates appeared from the session with a raw score equal to or less than P1 score in Physics) / Total number of candidates appeared in the session

Chemistry Percentile (C1P):

(100 x Number of candidates appeared from the session with a raw score equal to or less than C1 score in Chemistry) / Total number of candidates appeared in the session

The All India Rank shall be compiled and declared after the conduct of the JEE Main May 2021 exam.

The NTA has already released the JEE Main 2021 February session answer key on March 2. Candidates can use this JEE Main answer key 2021 to calculate their probable scores before the result. The authorities have also allowed candidates to challenge the provisional JEE Main 2021 answer key till March 3.

JEE Main 2021 March application form was released on March 1. The last date of applying for the second session of JEE Main 2021 is March 6. JEE Main 2021 March exam dates are March 15 to 18.
