JKBOSE Class 11 result 2021: Board announces mass promotion of Class 11 students
JKBoSE Class 11 exams 2021 were scheduled to be conducted today, September 23, however, the board announced a mass promotion in order to save the academic year of the students.
NEW DELHI: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBoSE) announced mass promotion of Class 11 students (Private/Bi-Annuals 2021) of the Kashmir division/ winter zone areas of Jammu division. The JKBoSE Class 11 students will be promoted to Class 12 based on the previous year’s result. The exams for Class 11 were scheduled to start from today, September 23, 2021.

In the official notice, JKBoSE said, “The decision has been taken due to paucity of the time left for conducting forthcoming annual examinations in Kashmir division, winter zone areas of Jammu division."
The JBOSE Class 11 students who are promoted will be eligible to appear for Class 12 board exams if they are admitted in a school and maintain a minimum of 66 per cent attendance in offline or online classes held during the current academic session.
Students who applied for special subject/ additional subjects and other categories in Class 11 exams will also be promoted as a one-time exception, However, they should have qualified for the main examination in all compulsory subjects.
The notice further said that “The promotion of candidates shall be subject to the condition that if any candidate/s is found to be not eligible for appearing in the 2020-21 examination, the board has the right to cancel their promotion without any prior notice.”
On September 13, the bi-annual board examination of Class 12 students started for the winter zone Jammu with all the students and invigilators subjected to Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) before being allowed entry into the examination centres.
