NEW DELHI: The J-K Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JKBOPEE) has opened applications for the Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test (JKCET) 2023. Candidates that wish to apply for the common entrance test for admission for admission in government and private colleges in J-K can apply at official website- jkbopee.gov.in. The last date for JKCET application form submission is April 24, 2023.

Applicants are required to pay Rs 1,000 via online payment methods at the time of registration as application fee. The board is yet to announced the JKCET 2023 exam date, the tentative date is May 28, 2023. "Once the form is submitted, the entries made therein cannot be changed. It is in the interest of the candidate to make double check before submitting the online Application Form," read the official e-brochure.

How to fill JKCET 2023 application form?

  • Visit official website- jkbopee.gov.in.
  • On the exam tab, click on the link that reads 'Common Entrance Test (Engineering)'.
  • Read instructions to upload images and documents and read information brochure before filling application form.
  • Click on the button to fill application form.
  • Enter academic, personal and professional details and upload necessary documents in prescribed format.
  • Make payment via online payment methods.
  • Submit and print application form for future reference.

The online submitted JKCET 2023 application form is provisional and is can be cancelled at any stage subject to the final verification of the documents, if a document is proved to be fake false. In case the board does not conduct the entrance test, the selection of the eligible candidates shall be made on the basis of the marks obtained in the qualifying examination (10+2).

The board also informed that the candidature of those candidates, who shall submit incorrect or wrong information during online submission of application form, will be liable to be rejected without any further notice.
