KCET document verification 2023 starts today; rank-wise schedule

NEW DELHI: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will start the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) document verification 2023 for the KCET counselling today. The online document verification process will be conducted till July 15. KCET 2023 qualified candidates can check the rank-wise schedule for KCET document verification 2023 on the official website – kea.kar.nic.in.

The online document verification for KCET 2023 will be conducted for candidates who have claimed eligibility clause ‘a’ in their KCET application form 2023. The exam authority has issued guidelines for the verification of documents. KEA advised candidates and parents to read the detailed instructions and guidelines with regard to online verification of documents before visiting the BEO office.
According to the rank-wise schedule, the document verification will be held in three sessions - forenoon session 1 from 9:30 am to 11 am, forenoon session 2 from 11:15 am to 1:15 am, and afternoon session from 2 pm onwards.
“Those candidates who will get the eligibility can download the verification slip from the KEA website. Details for downloading the verification slip will be notified later,” KEA informed.
The exam authority said that those candidates who have claimed eligibility under other clauses will have to appear for offline verification at KEA Bangalore. “Schedule will be published in due course,” KEA added.
Moreover, those candidates who have claimed ‘y’ clause (non-Karnataka candidates who have registered for BSc nursing) do not need to appear for document verification.
KCET document verification 2023: Documents required
- UGCET 2023 admission ticket
- UGCET 2023 application form print out
- SSLC or Class 10 scorecard
- Second PUC or Class 12 scorecard
- Candidate’s study certificate obtained from institution head undersigned by Block Educational Officer (BEO)
- Rural study certificate from Class 1 to 10, if applicable
- Kannada medium study certificate, if applicable
- Caste or income certificate, if applicable
