NEW DELHI- The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra has successfully concluded the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MAH CET 2021) day 3 today, September 18, 2021. As per post MAH CET 2021 exam day 3 students' reaction, the overall difficulty level was moderate. As per the released statistics, a total of 1,32,190 candidates registered for the MAH CET 2021 exam. Maharashtra CET 2021 for admission into MBA/ MMS program across the Maharashtra state was conducted from September 16 to 18, 2021.

The Maharashtra CET 2021 exam was conducted in computer-based (online) mode. There were a total of 200 multiple-choice questions in the MAH CET 2021 question paper. As per MAH CET 2021 MBA exam analysis, all the questions were asked from, Verbal Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, and Abstract Reasoning. The total time duration of MAH CET 2021 exam was 2.5 hours (150 minutes).

MAH CET 2021 sectional analysis of day 3 exam

Verbal Ability/ Reading Comprehension

  • VARC section consisted around 50 questions with 34 to 36 Verbal Ability questions and around 14 Reading Comprehension questions

  • There were a total of 2 passages- one was quite lengither, but candidates found both were easy to read and comprehend. The longer passage had 9 questions and other had 5 questions

  • The Verbal Ability section was dominated by vocabulary questions.

  • Major topics from which questions were asked are cloze paragraph, fill in the blanks, antonyms, synonyms, spotting the error, analogies etc

Quantitative Aptitude

  • There were about 55 to 60 questions on QA and DI in the slot of MAH CET 2021

  • One set was on a Pie chart with 5 questions and other set was on table with 3 questions

  • There was one DI set on three variable venn diagram with 5 questions and thee sets on caselets

  • Two out of three sets on caselets had 4 questions and third set had 3 questions

  • Most of the topics from which questions are asked are averages, Profit & Loss, Time-Speed-Distance

Logical Reasoning

  • There were two sets on arrangement with 5 questions each

  • There were a total of 8 questions on the family tree, with 5 questions in each set

  • There were a total of 13 questions on coding-decoding out of which two questions were in the form of set

  • There were 6 questions on number series and 4 questions on scheduling

  • In this section questions were asked from Statement Assumptions, Courses of Action, and Syllogisms

Abstract Reasoning

  • A total of 25 questions were asked in this section

  • The questions were on series completion, odd man out, analogies, and finding the missing part

  • One question on paper cutting was reported
