MAHE invites application for admission in MA programmes; apply at manipal.edu

NEW DELHI: The Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) Department of Geopolitics and International Relations (DGIR) will start the admission process for the MA in Geopolitics and International Relations programme from August 2023. Currently, MAHE is accepting applications for admission to other MA programmes.

Interested and eligible candidates can fill out the online application form for the MA in Geopolitics and International Relations and other MA programmes of MAHE through the official website, manipal.edu.

Those who have passed their graduation in any discipline with 50 percent marks are eligible to apply for the MA programme. DGIR will get back to the candidates with a template of the Statement of Purpose and based on the SOP the online interview round will be conducted.

MAHE accepts PhD applications twice a year. Applicants have to go through the qualifying examination for the PhD admission. Every year one TMA Pai Scholarship is offered to a deserving candidate.

MAHE's official release reads: "The MA programme in Geopolitics and International Relations (M.A. GIR) programme is a well-structured academic programme reflecting contemporary trends and the Indian perspective on geopolitics. Apart from the M.A. programme, the Department also offers a PhD programme which aims to add value to the global geopolitical discourse from India's perspective."

Currently, the master's programme at the Department of Geopolitics and International Relations of MAHE has 67 students and the PhD programmes have six students.
