MCAER PG CET 2024 registration ends today at; exam from March 30 to April 1

Admission to PG degree programmes in Maharashtra agriculture universities will be based on MCAER PG CET and CGPA in UG programmes.

NEW DELHI: Maharashtra Agricultural Universities Examination Board will today close the registration process for the postgraduate common entrance test (PG CET 2024). Students aspiring for admission in agriculture universities in Maharashtra can apply for the MCAER PG CET 2024 on the official website,

As per the norms, the admission to masters degrees programmes will be on the basis of marks obtained in the PG CET 2024 of respective subject and CGPA of the qualifying UG degree examination in the proportion of 70 : 30, respectively.

The PG CET 2024 question paper will have 200 multiple-choice questions of one mark each. The candidates will have to mark the correct answer by blackening the corresponding circle against the serial number of the question in the OMR sheet with black ink ball point pen only. The answer once marked is final; any change in the option once marked, done by any method, will amount to an incorrect response. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.

Exam schedule

The PG CET 2024 will be conducted from March 30 to April 1 in two shifts. In the morning shift, 10 am to 12 noon, horticulture and food technology exam will be held on March 30 while agriculture and agriculture business exam will be conducted on March 31 and April 1, respectively. In the evening shift, 3 pm to 5 pm, agriculture engineering and community science will be held on March 30. Forestry and Fisheries Science exam will be held on March 31 while molecular biology and biotechnology exam will be conducted on April 1 in the evening shift.
