NEW DELHI: Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) has released MET 2021 exam day instructions. The authorities are going to conduct the MET 2021 exam as an online proctored exam from June 11 to 14. The important exam day guidelines and instructions includes the details on system requirements, safe examination browser (SEB) and other important aspects of the online remote proctored MET 2021 exam. Candidates who will appear in Manipal entrance test 2021 will be able to book their slot for MET 2021 from June 1.

To allow candidates get accustomed to the exam interface and is well conversant with the various features, MAHE will release the mandatory MET 2021 mock test on June 5. The timing for the mock test and proctored online MET exam will strictly be as per the Indian Standard Time (IST). Students will be required to login at least 20 minutes before the start of the examinations and be ready to take the test. No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam after the start time.

MET 2021 - Requirements for online proctored exam

Candidates can check the system requirements and other important aspects of the Manipal entrance test 2021 below.

System Requirements

  • System: Desktop or Laptop

  • Operating System: Windows 10 (Pro, Enterprise, and Education editions) OR Windows 8/8.1 (32-bit and 64-bit) (all editions) OR Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit) (all editions).

  • Processor: Minimum 2 core (4 vCPU) or above with 2.2 GHz or more clock speed

  • RAM: 2 GB or above

  • Screen Resolution: 1024 x 768 and Above

  • Browser: Chrome

  • Web camera: Resolution 640 x 480, 15 frames per second (fps)

  • Microphone: Any Model (External or Internal)

  • Net Framework: v4.5.2

Internet Requirements

  • Steady Internet connection: 512 Kilobits per sec (Kbps) minimum. However, it is recommended to have an

  • Internet connection of 1 - 2 Mbps or more, for a smooth examination experience.

  • Connectivity: Dedicated and continuous connectivity (wired or wireless networks) (if using a mobile hotspot, please ensure NO other device(s) is / are using the same hotspot) Data Usage: 1.5 GB max (during the final exam)

MET 2021 - Exam day instructions

  • Students will not be allowed to take this test on mobile / tablet / macbook. The Safe Examination Browser (SEB) can be installed only on laptop / desktop running on windows operating systems.

  • It is a responsibility of a candidate to check hardware, software, broadband internet & power backup at the time of the exam.

  • No request will be considered for time extension / rescheduling of the test.

  • Candidates must have the original hard copy of the passport / driving license / EC voter id card / Aadhaar card / PAN card or school / college photo-bearing id card ready at the time of MET 2021 examination.

  • Candidates should position them in front of the web camera appropriately with their face being clearly visible and should ensure that they are properly recorded by the web camera throughout the exam.

  • Students should ensure that the physical location is well lit, adequately ventilated, noise / disturbance free.
