NEW DELHI: The State CET Cell, Maharashtra has extended the last date to submit the application form for MH CET law 2022 for both 3 year LLB and 5 year LLB programmes. Candidates can now submit the application form for 3-year LLB till April 29. While the last date to submit the application form for 5-year LLB is now May 02, 2022.

The CET Cell has also postponed the MH CET law 5-year LLB exam from June 10 to June 18 and June 19, 2022. The MH CET law 3-year LLB will be held as per the schedule on June 04 and June 05, 2022, in online mode.

MH CET law 2022 and CLAT 2022 likely to clash

It may be noted that the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has also decided to conduct CLAT 2022 on June 19, 2022. This may result in a clash between CLAT and MH CET law 5-year LLB which may be held on June 19. Therefore, candidates should also consider the CLAT exam while applying for MH CET law 2022.

Important updates for candidates and related colleges

  • The dates released by CET Cell are subject to change as per the availability of the IT infrastructure for conducting online examination.

  • As there will be many examinations conducted simultaneously hence a clash of exams is expected. Therefore, candidates must clearly select which examination they want to appear.

  • The application form of MH CET law 2022 is available online at cetcell.mahacet.org. The MH CET law registration fee is Rs. 800 for open/general category candidates and Rs. 400 for SC/ST candidates of Maharashtra.

  • Candidates applying for MH CET law 2022 must keep copies of the filled in application form in hard and soft format. They will be required to submit the copy of the application form at the time of counselling.

  • The MH CET law 2022 scores will be used for admission to around 140 government and private law colleges in the state of Maharashtra.
