NEW DELHI: The result of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG 2021) exam will be released soon on the official website, neet.nta.nic.in. Prior to the declaration of the result, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will be releasing the NEET 2021 official answer key, question paper, and OMR sheet.

As per the NEET 2021 latest news today by NTA, the 2nd phase registration of NEET 2021 will also commence soon. The NEET 2021 phase 2 registration date has yet to be announced by NTA.

A total of 16.14 lakh candidates have registered, out of which over 95 percent appeared candidates are waiting for NEET 2021 exam results. Here are five important which aspirants should be aware of before the declaration of NEET result 2021.

Complete the NEET 2021 2nd phase registration process

This year, NEET 2021 application form has been divided into two phases to ensure that candidate data is submitted quickly. Before the declaration of the result, the application process needs to be completed before NEET phase 2 registration last date 2021. The details regarding the NEET 2nd phase registration have been released with the brochure. Any latest update on NEET 2021 phase 2 application form will be released at neet.nta.nic.in.

Download NTA NEET 2021 answer keys, question paper

The official NEET 2021 answer key with solutions pdf will be released in two phases - provisional and final. It is expected that the answer key will be released after the completion of NEET 2nd phase registration.

Aspirants can download the provisional NEET answer key along with question papers and OMR sheets from the official website, neet.nta.nic.in, when available. NTA will release the NEET 2021 answer keys and question paper for all paper codes - M, N, O, P.

How to challenge the NEET answer key 2021

After verifying the answers, if a candidate finds any mistakes in the released NTA NEET 2021 answer key, they can challenge that answer. Candidates who wish to challenge the NEET 2021 official answer key will have to pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 1000 per challenged answer.

NTA will scrutinize each challenged NEET 2021 answer with the help of experts. If a challenging answer is accepted by the authority, the NEET official answer key will be revised according to the correct options.

NEET 2021 cutoff to pass the exam

NEET cutoff is the minimum qualifying marks to be obtained to pass the medical entrance test. NEET UG 2021 cutoff percentile for general category candidates is the 50th. While for SC/ST/OBC and general-PH aspirants, the NEET qualifying percentile is 40th and 45th, respectively.

The respective category-wise qualifying NEET cutoff 2021 scores for General/SC/ST/OBC candidates will be released along with the NEET scorecard. Prior to the declaration of the NEET 2021 result, the final answer key will also be released by authorities.

NEET 2021 counselling is mandatory for admission

After the declaration of the result, candidates will have to apply for counselling under All India and state quotas. The schedule for NEET 2021 counselling for both the quotas will be released by the respective authorities.

The seat allotments will be done only on the basis of scores obtained in the NEET exam, choices filled, seats available, and other factors. After the release of the provisional allotment list, selected candidates will have to report for admission.
