NEW DELHI: National Board of Examinations (NBE) has conducted the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) exam from 9 am to 12.30 pm. NBE is expected to announce NEET PG cut off along with results in the last week of September. NEET PG 2021 cutoff refers to the minimum percentile and equivalent marks required to qualify the entrance exam.

The cutoff percentile to qualify for the postgraduate medical entrance exam is the 50th percentile for the general category and the 40th percentile for historically marginalised aspirants. The corresponding scores change every year.

Through NEET PG 2021 cutoff, candidates can secure admission to 50% All India Quota (AIQ), 50% state quota, all deemed/central universities, ESIC/AMFS colleges, and private institutes. NBE has conducted NEET PG 2021 exam on September 11 in computer based mode. As per the expert analysis of NEET PG 2021, the exam was easy to moderate.

NEET PG cut-off ranks for admission to medical colleges

The cut off rank of NEET PG is the last rank at which candidates get admission to a particular college. Last year’s NEET PG cutoff rank will help candidates to get an idea of rank to be secured for admission to top medical colleges. Through NEET PG counselling, the admission to around 12,780 Master of Surgery (MS), 24,547 Doctor of Medicine (MD) and 922 PG Diploma seats will be granted.

The cut-off rank of NEET PG 2021 is determined on the basis of All India Rank (AIR) secured, preference of colleges filled by candidates, seats available in preferred colleges, reservation criteria, difficulty level and more.
