NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) had started the counselling of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate - NEET PG counselling process on mcc.nic.in. MCC will be conducting four rounds of All India Quota counselling in the academic year 2021: round 1, round 2, mop-up round, and stray vacancy round. NEET PG counselling registration is over.

NEET PG 2021 counselling allotment process will start today and will continue till January 21, 2022. The result of NEET PG counselling 2021 round one will be announced on January 22.

Through NEET PG counselling 2021, approximately 40998 seats to all MD, MS and PG diploma courses will be allotted in about 6,102 colleges and 649 hospitals.

NEET PG 201 seat allotment process

After round one of NEET 2021 counselling is completed, DGHS will conduct the seat allotment process. This NEET PG seat allotment result 2021 will be released as a PDF.

  • NEET PG seat allotment 2021 will be done on the basis of NEET PG rank, the number of colleges & courses selected, the number of seats available, the reservation criteria, and other factors .

  • Candidates with a better rank will be given preference

  • For the shortlisted candidates, the NEET PG allotment letters will be released on the official portal. The letters will contain the details of the candidate, their rank, marks in the NEET PG exam, the category under which they are being admitted, and the college they have been assigned.

NEET PG 2021 counselling scheme

The following is an explanation of basic seat counselling:

  • All India Quota Seats: Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) of Directorate General of Health Services, Government of India conducts the counselling for All India 50% Quota seats using the result of NEET PG 2021.

  • State Quota Seats: The concerned state/designated authority/university conducts the state quota counselling based on the students' results in the examination

  • Admission into Private medical colleges/Deemed University: Counselling for admission to private Medical Colleges, Institutions, Universities & Deemed Universities are conducted by the designated counselling authority of these Private Colleges/ Institutions/ Institutes/ Universities/ Deemed Universities

  • Admission into Armed Forces Medical Service Institutions: Counselling for admission to Armed Forces Medical Service Institutions is conducted by the Directorate General Armed Forces Medical Services (DGAFMS), Ministry of Defence, and Government of India.

What after NEET PG 2021 seat allotment?

After the seat allotment process, MCC will announce NEET PG counselling result pdf at mcc.nic.in. NEET PG 2021 counselling result round one will mention candidate's roll number, category, allotted category and college allotted.

Applicants must report to the allotted college for verification of documents and to confirm their NEET PG 2021 admission. Candidates will be required to pay the full tuition fee to be guaranteed their seat during NEET PG rank-wise seat allotment. To ensure their seat during NEET PG rank wise allotment, candidates will be required to present all their required documents to the allotted college.

The second round of NEET PG 2021 counselling will begin on February 1, 2022. Registration for the second round of AIQ will begin on February 3 .The NEET PG PG 2021 counselling process will conclude on March 16, 2022.
