NEET PG/MDS 2020 counselling resumes; round one provisional result announced at mcc.nic.in

NEW DELHI: Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has announced round one provisional result of counselling of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate/MDS (NEET PG/MDS) on April 9, 2020. An hour before the result, the authority had released the official notice on resumption of the NEET PG/MDS 2020 counselling for round one. A total of 13,237 MD/MS/PG Diploma and 1,144 MDS candidates have been shortlisted through NEET PG/MDS counselling under All India Quota (AIQ), deemed/central universities, ESIC and AFMC institutes.
The final result of seat allotment will be announced on April 10, 2020. Also, the shortlisted candidates are required to submit the discrepancies in provisional results till 8:00 AM of April 10, 2020. Aspirants will be required to report at the respective colleges for completion of admission process till April 20, 2020. Candidates can either report to the allotted college physically or they can report in online mode to allotted colleges.

What to do in case of any discrepancy?
Candidates facing any discrepancy in the result have to immediately inform the MCC of DGHS till 08:00 AM of April 10 through email on email: mccresultquery@gmail.com. In case if someone fails to submit the email before the last date, then the result announced by MCC will be considered final.

NEET PG/MDS counselling final result
The final result of NEET PG/MDS allotment will be announced on April 10, as mentioned above. It will mention the All India Rank (AIR), name of colleges, category allotted and considered and other remarks. Based on the ranks secured, choices of colleges as well as courses, seats available, reservation criteria and other factors the admission will be granted.

Reporting at the colleges
Authorities have provided two modes of reporting for the eligible aspirants. Candidates can choose any of the below mentioned modes to report at the allotted college within the due dates:

Physical reporting
Eligible aspirants can report at the allotted college physically for granting of successful admission. Candidates have to pay the requisite fee and furnish important documents in front of present authorities.

Online reporting
Aspirants who are shortlisted in the merit list can join the allotted college by sending the confirmatory email regarding the acceptance of seat and by uploading scanned copies of all relevant documents in online mode. Candidates have to pay the requisite in online mode via debit/credit cards or net banking. The details of the bank account and other necessary details regarding that are notified on the college portal.

Documents required
Below is the list of documents required for verification while reporting at the particular college. Any candidate without any document will not be allowed to take admission.

  • Mark sheet of MBBS (1, 2 and 3 professional examinations)

  • NEET PG admit card 2020

  • MBBS degree certificate or provisional certificate

  • Certificate for completion of internship from the head of the institute stating the completion of internship on or before March 31, 2020

  • Permanent or provisional registration certificate issued by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC)

  • High school/higher secondary certificate/date of birth for birth proof

  • One identification proof - PAN card, driving license, voter ID, passport and Aadhaar card

  • SC/ST certificate, if applicable (in English or Hindi)

  • OBC certificate issued by competent authority

  • Disability certificate issued by the medical board only
