A total of 99,313 MBBS and 26,949 BDS are granted through NEET UG 2023.

Answer: NTA in the NEET official brochure said: "In case of any discrepancy in the particulars of the candidate or his/her photograph and signatures shown in the Admit Card and Confirmation Page, the candidate may immediately approach the Help Line between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm. In such cases, candidates would appear in the Examination with the already downloaded Admit Card. However, NTA will take necessary action to make corrections in the record later."

The Central government has sanctioned 11 new nursing colleges for Tamil Nadu and they would be established at an outlay of Rs 10 crore each, State Health Minister Ma Subramanian said on Friday. These colleges, offering 100 undergraduate seats, would be built next to the state-run medical colleges, he said.

“In case a candidate is unable to download his/ her Admit Cards from the website, he or she may approach the Help Line between 10:00 am to 05.00 pm or write an email to NTA at neet@nta.ac.in,” the NTA informed earlier.

The NTA is facilitating all candidates with an additional platform of UMANG and DigiLocker to download their documents including NEET UG admit card and score cards.

Clarifying on the medium of NEET question paper, the NTA said that candidates opting for English would be provided a test booklet in English only. The NTA recently has revised the NEET UG eligibility criteria for NRI candidates. The overseas citizen of India (OCI) were allowed to apply for admission against NRI seats or supernumerary seats only. However, as per the announcement made by the NTA, the NRIs, OCI, persons with Indian origin (PIO) and foreign nationals are eligible for admission in medical, dental, Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and homeopathy colleges subject to rules and regulations.

As per NEET UG exam pattern, NEET question paper will comprise four subjects -- physics, chemistry, botany and zoology. Each subject will consist of two sections.
