NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will close the registration and choice filling process of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test - NEET counselling today, January 24, 2022. The eligible candidates can complete their NEET 2021 counselling and choice filling process at the MCC official website - mcc.nic.in.

NEET counselling 2021 registration can be done till 12 noon, while the choice filling facility will close by 11.55 pm. The process of NEET UG counselling 2021 will be done on January 27 and 28.

NEET counselling 2021: How to register?

  • Go to the official website - mcc.nic.in

  • Select ‘UG counselling’ and click on ‘New registration’ link

  • Then, fresh candidates need to click on ‘New candidate registration’ and registered aspirants can login to complete NEET counselling registration

  • Read the instructions carefully and enter roll number, NEET application number, mother’s name, date of birth and security code

  • Login using roll number and password sent to the registered number and email

  • Complete NEET 2021 counselling registration by entering personal, educational, NEET UG exam, communication details and uploading the scanned images

  • Pay the NEET counselling registration fee in online mode using credit/debit cards or net banking, as per the category

  • Verify the details filled and take a printout of the registration confirmation page

NEET UG counselling 2021: How to fill choices

After the registration process is over, aspirants have to provide their choices of colleges in which they wish to take admission. They can select as many choices as they want based on their NEET 2021 rank. Here is the process of NEET choice filling process.

  • Visit mcc.nic.in

  • In the ‘UG counselling’ section, login using roll number, password and security pin

  • Click on ‘Fill choices’ link

  • Select the course (medical/dental) and number of colleges for MBBS, BDS admission

  • Use + and - buttons to add and delete the choices

  • After filling the NEET counselling choices, verify the details and lock it

Once the choices are filled, lock these NEET UG counselling 2021 choices. After locking, it cannot be edited. The choices will be locked automatically after the last date, if any candidate forgets to lock it.

What after registration of NEET counselling 2021?

MCC will start the NEET seat allotment process on January 27 and 28, 2022. NEET counselling result round one will be announced on January 29, 2022, in the PDF format. NEET 2021 counselling result pdf will mention the roll number, All India Ranks (AIR), candidate’s and allotted category, colleges allotted and remarks.

The shortlisted candidates need to download NEET counselling letters and report at the designated colleges with relevant documents. The reporting to the allotted colleges can be done from January 30 to February 4, 2022.
