NEET UG Counselling 2022: MCC withdraws 22 seats after NMC revokes recognition of medical college
CM Medical College gets its recognition revoked by NMC and therefore, will be withdrawing its 22 seats from NEET UG Counselling 2022.
NEW DELHI: Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) issued a notice regarding the removal of Chandulal Chandrakar Memorial Government Medical College, Durg from the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG counselling 2022.
The committee took the decision after the the National Medical Commission (NMC) revoked the recognition of the college. MCC requested the college to withdraw their 22 seats from the NEET UG counselling 2022 seat matrix. CM Medical College will not be participating in the All India UG Counselling 2022 being conducted by MCC of Director General of Health Services (DGHS).
MCC also recently added a total of 156 MBBS seats in the NEET UG counselling 2022 round-2. The committee also announced that candidates who have been allotted seats in NEET UG counselling round-1 to resign their seats by November 2, 2022. If the candidate does not resign, they will be considered as part of NEET UG 2022 counselling round-2.
The round-2 verification process of candidates by the respective medical and dental institutions will be held between November 7 and 8, 2022. MCC will conduct the seat allotment process for registered candidates from November 9 to 10, 2022. The NEET UG 2022 round 2 seat allotment result will be declared on November 11. Candidates who will get shortlisted in the NEET UG allotment have to report at the allotted colleges from November 12 to 18, 2022.
